Senior Golang Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance BFF (Backend for Frontend) solutions for both web and mobile applications.

• Design, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs along with system integrations.

• Connect systems through APIs, messaging, and event-driven architectures.

• Guarantee application performance, scalability, availability, security, and quality.

• Engage in the design and advancement of microservices-based architectures.

• Apply development best practices, design patterns, and software architecture principles.

• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and ongoing corrective and evolutionary maintenance.

• Collaborate with Frontend, Product, QA, Architecture, and DevOps teams.

• Support and implement CI/CD processes, monitoring, observability, and production environment troubleshooting.

• Analyze and resolve incidents by identifying root causes and suggesting continuous improvements.

• Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and the progression of engineering practices.

• Actively engage in technical decisions, estimations, and delivery planning.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in Back-End development utilizing Go (Golang).

• Familiarity with Kotlin.

• Understanding of building and maintaining RESTful APIs.

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Background in integrating systems using APIs, messaging, and events.

• Knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases.

• Experience in data modeling and query optimization.

• Proficiency in code version control tools, such as Git.

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and software quality practices.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and automation of pipelines.

• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and log analysis.

• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and containerized environments.

• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools.

• Knowledge of application and API security principles.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, like Scrum and Kanban.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards working in multidisciplinary settings.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Experience with messaging tools like Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Experience in high-volume environments and mission-critical systems.

• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar platforms.

• Background in the financial services, fintech, or payments industry.
