.NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable and secure backend services utilizing C# and .NET/.NET Core.

• Create and document RESTful APIs for both internal and external users.

• Implement data access layers employing Entity Framework Core.

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best practices and design patterns.

• Engage in code reviews and offer constructive feedback.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in both production and development environments.

• Integrate with third-party APIs and services, ensuring their reliability and performance.

• Contribute to the architecture and design of microservices and distributed systems.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and assist with automated deployment processes.

• Stay informed about emerging backend technologies and suggest enhancements.

• Perform tasks that involve sitting, using hands, reaching, talking, and hearing; maintain necessary visual focus.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing backend applications with C# and .NET/.NET Core.

• Strong proficiency in ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.

• Experience in RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation, including Swagger/OpenAPI.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID principles.

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit and NUnit, along with mocking libraries.

• Experience with asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and middleware.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts, including JWT, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.

• Comfortable using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools like Azure DevOps.

• Understanding of microservices, message queues such as RabbitMQ and Azure Service Bus, and distributed systems.

• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Azure DevOps.

• Intermediate to advanced spoken English level (B2+).
