This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.
• Supervise payroll time logs, time adjustments, tax modifications, and all related payroll processes, whether electronic, paper, or through interfaces.
• Ensure the payroll is accurately closed by collecting data, reconciling information, and applying payroll policies.
• Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization by responding promptly and delivering friendly customer service.
• Document and maintain payroll procedures meticulously.
• Continuously review and enhance payroll processing to simplify, standardize, and increase team capacity.
• Prepare and generate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports as necessary.
• Provide exceptional service and meet all payroll service-level expectations.
• Address and resolve issues when service-level requirements are not fulfilled.
• Ensure adherence to SOX, internal audit standards, Flowserve policies, payroll procedures, and applicable country, state, or city laws.
• Review and audit hours, earnings, deductions, manual checks, and special actions prior to each payroll processing.
• Assist employees with inquiries in compliance with payroll laws and union agreements.
• Ensure data integrity in payroll and related systems that impact payroll.
• Undertake special projects as requested and perform other duties as assigned.
• Lead the transformation and optimization of global payroll operations, including vendor migrations, system implementations, and process standardization.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across HR, Finance, and Technology to enhance service delivery, controls, and scalable compliant solutions.
• Must have experience with vendor migration.
• Proven track record in project management, particularly in Time and Attendance, Benefits, HCM, or payroll vendor system setup or changes.
• Must demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in payroll project tracking and migration data auditing.
• Must uphold strong ethical standards and handle confidential data responsibly.
• Familiarity with the Kronos time and attendance system is required.
• Ability to build relationships with Regional HR, payroll staff, technical teams, other HR departments, and business leaders to ensure consistent quality in service delivery.
• Strong customer service orientation and understanding of effective customer relationship practices.
• Experience in international payroll and US payroll is essential.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written, with the ability to engage with all organizational levels.
• Strong escalation skills, with the capability to own, de-escalate, identify root causes, and implement risk avoidance improvements.
• Proficiency in running and creating reports.
• Comfort with technology, along with excellent Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• BS or BA degree in a relevant field along with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience working with ADP and other vendors in addition to ADP is advantageous.
• US payroll experience with the ADP WFN product is preferred.
