This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of contracts with clients and vendors, from the initial request to final signature and distribution.
• Ensure that all contracts comply with organizational policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Act as the subject matter expert on contractual matters and ensure that any contract redlines receive the necessary approvals.
• Manage standard agreements and documentation requirements, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of contracts.
• Assist the sales and procurement teams with the necessary documentation for specialized services.
• Support client negotiations and facilitate communication among sales, procurement, global operations, and legal teams.
• Represent First Advantage during legal discussions with clients and vendors.
• Draft standard contract language within established parameters and manage service level agreement (SLA) requirements.
• Administer, maintain, and track renewal reminders for contractual documents within the contract management database.
• Provide contract management knowledge and refresher training sessions.
• Contribute to company or strategic projects from a contract management perspective.
• Support corporate in-house counsel as needed.
• Develop and directly supervise entry-level professional contributors.
• Collaborate with various First Advantage business groups to enhance business performance.
• Advanced skills in contract drafting and negotiation.
• Proven experience in managing highly complex contractual transactions with minimal supervision.
• Background in mentoring, coaching, or leading other specialists.
• Ability to operate in a matrix environment and coordinate input from multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) under tight deadlines.
• Capacity to manage multiple deadlines with urgency, accuracy, and complete deliverables.
• Working knowledge of contract terms and conditions.
• Proficient understanding of contract management principles and guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
• Effective negotiation and stakeholder/customer management abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM tools and data management applications such as Siebel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
• Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Paralegal Certification or higher is an advantage.
• Eight or more years of experience in corporate contracting.
• At least two years of experience related to service sales.
• Proven skills in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining various contractual agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, and SLAs.
• Experience in engaging with multinational companies and navigating international cultural/work environments.
