Senior Global Commodity Manager – Key Technologies

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate, define, and implement global category strategies for Key Technologies to optimize savings, ensure timely delivery, uphold quality, and manage risk effectively.

• Assess suppliers, spearhead competitive processes (RFIs/RFPs/auctions), negotiate contracts, promote preferred-supplier adoption, and oversee supplier performance to fulfill Beckman Coulter's requirements.

• Conduct spend analysis, gather market intelligence, perform financial evaluations, and monitor/report savings in relation to annual goals.

• Lead cross-functional teams while exercising influence without direct authority.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

• Over 12 years of experience in technical procurement/sourcing within Key Technologies.

• Profound knowledge of current and emerging technologies pertinent to AI/ML, advanced analytics, robotics, automation, biotechnology, and data science.

• Proven expertise in negotiations, contract management, and sourcing events such as RFI/RFP.

• Strong collaboration skills with teams in New Product Introduction, R&D, Supplier Development, and Quality.
