This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.
• Analyze, review, and evaluate project requirements and specifications along with product functionality to transform them into quality control process artifacts.
• Prepare and obtain test data.
• Create, execute, refine, and enhance automation scripts.
• Record and assess outcomes, documenting any discrepancies from expected results.
• Utilize tools for administration, monitoring, and management of automation scripts.
• Provide setup for the automation testing environment.
• Review test artifacts created by other team members.
• Contribute to the definition and enhancement of the automation process control.
• Research and implement new automation tools or methodologies.
• Generate test documentation.
• Engage in communication with the customer.
• Execute and implement tests at all designated levels, log results, and document any deviations from expected outcomes.
• Develop, validate, and update test documentation, including test cases and plans.
• Contribute to the overarching project quality assurance process.
• Analyze, enhance, and establish testing processes for the project.
• Assess coverage for the project's testing foundation.
• Define appropriate metrics for the project.
• Determine, prioritize, and estimate necessary testing efforts.
• Measure the performance of components and systems, when applicable.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing, comprising both manual and automated testing.
• Significant experience in API and end-to-end test automation using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Background in designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks for API and backend testing.
• Experience in leveraging AI throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including but not limited to end-to-end test automation.
• Demonstrated ability or proven experience in taking ownership of the overall quality strategy and spearheading quality initiatives across the SDLC.
• Proficient in setting up and maintaining mock servers and stubs for integrating external services.
• Capability to extend automation coverage from backend services to frontend applications.
• Strong understanding of test architecture, mocking strategies, and test data management.
• Experience in developing and maintaining end-to-end automated tests and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive approach with ownership of test infrastructure and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.
