Senior Gen AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions for data engineering and analytics.

• Construct dependable data pipelines for both batch and real-time processing.

• Create data platforms and workflows utilizing Databricks and contemporary cloud technologies.

• Manage extensive and intricate datasets for analytics, reporting, and AI-driven applications.

• Craft data models and enhance processing workflows for improved performance and scalability.

• Integrate both structured and unstructured data sources.

• Enforce data quality, validation, monitoring, and governance practices.

• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.

• Convert business requirements into scalable technical and data solutions.

• Diagnose issues related to pipelines, processing, performance, and integration.

• Improve data architectures and workflows for reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

• Contribute to the modernization of cloud-based data architecture and platforms.

• Develop reusable frameworks, components, and best practices in data engineering.

• Assist in the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of production data solutions.

• Keep abreast of the latest advancements in data engineering, cloud computing, analytics, AI, and modern data platform technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, data platforms, or a similar technology role.

• Significant experience in designing and developing scalable data pipelines and processing solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and modern cloud-based data platforms.

• Strong comprehension of data engineering concepts, data modeling, ETL/ELT, and distributed data processing.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Proficient programming and scripting skills in Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases, as well as large-scale datasets.

• Understanding of data architecture, integration patterns, performance optimization, and data quality.

• Background in supporting analytics, business intelligence, machine learning, or AI-driven use cases.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.

• Excellent communication skills for articulating technical concepts to business stakeholders.

• Experience in agile, fast-paced technology environments.

• Ability to independently drive projects from requirements through to implementation and production.
