This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more state.
• Design, develop, and sustain real-time data pipelines.
• Ensure the cloud infrastructure is reliable, secure, and cost-effective.
• Work collaboratively with agile teams to provide effective solutions.
• Implement and oversee CI/CD pipelines utilizing Google Cloud Build.
• Automate the deployment of infrastructure through Terraform.
• Maintain observability using metrics, logging, and tracing tools.
• Proactively and efficiently resolve complex infrastructure challenges.
• Produce comprehensive documentation, such as runbooks and architecture diagrams.
• Guide team members through code reviews and pair programming sessions.
• Act as a pivotal engineering team member in a collaborative, autonomous, and cross-functional setting.
• Proficient in Linux administration and troubleshooting (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (VPC, VPN, Peering, NAT).
• Expertise in load balancing (HTTP(S), TCP/SSL).
• In-depth understanding of Google Cloud Platform and its core services (GCE, GCS, Cloud Functions, App Engine, Cloud Run).
• Advanced skills in Terraform (module design, workspaces, state backends).
• Extensive experience with containers and Kubernetes (Docker best practices, GKE, Helm).
• Solid expertise in CI/CD with Google Cloud Build (pipelines, triggers).
• Knowledgeable in IAM, organizational policies, and resource management.
• Proficient in SQL for transactional databases and BigQuery.
• Familiar with data streaming and real-time processing (Pub/Sub, Apache Beam/Dataflow, Kafka).
• Advanced scripting and programming capabilities (bash/zsh, Python with GCP SDK, Go).
• Practical experience with observability tools (metrics, logs, traces).
• Understanding of best practices in cloud security and compliance.
• Troubleshooting mindset for addressing complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong communication and documentation skills (runbooks, architecture diagrams).
• Experience in mentoring and conducting code reviews and pair programming.
• Familiarity with working in Agile development environments, especially Scrum.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
