This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take charge of the long-term development of one or two established games with dedicated player communities.
• Design, balance, and enhance economy, progression, and reward mechanisms.
• Create player motivation loops that span events, features, and monetization strategies.
• Develop and sustain a cohesive ecosystem of LiveOps events.
• Craft systems that boost retention, engagement, and monetization while ensuring a positive player experience.
• Construct and maintain economy models, balancing spreadsheets, and simulations.
• Utilize data to pinpoint player friction points, progression bottlenecks, and monetization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Product, BI, UA, Art, and Development teams.
• Analyze key performance indicators such as Retention, ARPDAU, Conversion, LTV, and Engagement.
• Propel feature and event enhancements through testing, iteration, and experimentation.
• Articulate design rationale, trade-offs, and recommendations to the team.
• Over 5 years of experience in designing and managing successful F2P mobile games.
• Strong background in systems design, economy design, progression design, and LiveOps.
• Proven history of working on casual or puzzle games.
• Profound understanding of player motivation, retention mechanics, and monetization strategies.
• Capability to design and assess A/B tests and convert data into actionable enhancements.
• Comfortable making decisions based on KPIs and player behavior insights.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Quick to grasp new games, systems, and player demographics, and able to take ownership of projects.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills with experience in building balancing, simulation, and forecasting models.
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Passionate about crafting engaging and sustainable player experiences.
• Proficient in utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
• Qualified candidates must complete a design test.
