Senior Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the lead consultant for new NetSuite ERP implementations catering to small and medium enterprises.

• Manage the complete project delivery process from start to finish.

• Serve as the primary liaison for current clients.

• Supervise support, enhancement, and optimization efforts.

• Facilitate client meetings and discovery sessions.

• Collect and comprehend business requirements and objectives.

• Design and structure NetSuite solutions across various business functions.

• Create solution designs, process maps, and cutover plans.

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications.

• Configure NetSuite and conduct thorough end-to-end testing.

• Develop UAT plans and assist clients with their assigned tests.

• Manage data migration strategies and execution for simpler implementations.

• Lead complex data migration tasks, including template creation, data formatting, imports, and validation.

• Mentor junior consultants to ensure quality and alignment with project objectives.

• Collaborate with integration specialists and technical teams.

• Provide advice to clients on NetSuite best practices and scalable platform usage.

• Write and review custom SuiteScript code and workflows.

• Integrate other systems with NetSuite utilizing in-house tools or iPaaS solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a consulting role focused on ERP systems.

• Proven experience in leading end-to-end ERP implementations for small to medium-sized businesses across core business areas such as Record to Report, Design to Build, Procure to Pay, Lead to Quote, and Order to Cash.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and internal collaboration.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.

• Ability to manage complex requirements and deliver customized solutions.

• Skilled in managing priorities, timelines, and team responsibilities in a dynamic consulting environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Prior experience with NetSuite in a consulting capacity is essential.

• NetSuite certifications are highly advantageous.

• Understanding of modules such as Advanced Revenue Management, Fixed Assets, and SuiteBilling.

• Experience in mentoring or supervising junior consultants.

• Familiarity with SuiteTalk, Dell Boomi, or Celigo.

• Experience in configuring Workflows.

• Experience with SuiteScript scripting.
