Senior Functional Analyst – Financial Systems, ERP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Provide technical oversight during all stages of ERP implementation across the GL, AP, AR, FA, and CE modules, acting as the technical liaison to the consulting firm.

• Conduct critical analysis and validation of configurations, parameter settings, and functional design (Business Blueprint – BBP), identifying risks and gaps while preventing suboptimal customizations.

• Model financial processes and verify integrations for accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management, BCM, and connections with payment gateways and banks.

• Collaborate with accounting teams to ensure tax and regulatory compliance, including NF-e and SPED Fiscal/Contribuições integrations and BACEN requirements.

• Guide key users and assist with unit and integration testing (UAT), simulating settlement, reconciliation, and accounting workflows.

• Serve as the technical focal point during post-Go-Live support, data remediation, and initiatives aimed at operational stability.

• Document workflows and parameter settings, and train the internal team on ERP procedures and best practices.

• Assist in the prioritization of continuous improvements, ensuring adherence to Asaas SOX/SoD governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven and robust experience as an ERP consultant or functional analyst, with expertise in the GL, AP, and AR modules, and ideally in FA and CE.

• Hands-on experience with at least one full ERP implementation cycle, encompassing BBP design, configuration, and UAT.

• Advanced understanding of accounting and corporate finance processes, including financial close, reconciliations, cash flow, and treasury operations.

• Required familiarity with Brazilian tax legislation and Brazil Localization (CLL), including ancillary tax obligations and tax integrations.

• Preferred: experience on the client-side in ERP implementation projects.

• Preferred: background in a fintech or financial institution, with exposure to COSIF, CADOCs, and SPED.

• Preferred: experience with compliance and governance in preparation for an IPO, including SOX and SoD.

• Preferred: practical knowledge of SQL and data extraction tools for independent system audits.

• Preferred: ERP certification.
