Senior FullStack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and uphold comprehensive software solutions for Digital Business Profile products and business data platforms.

• Collaborate with Product teams to clarify functional requirements and convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Oversee medium to large-scale features throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from initial concept to production deployment.

• Develop software utilizing C#, .NET technologies, Angular, APIs, and cloud platforms.

• Engage in Agile Scrum activities, including sprint planning, design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Offer technical leadership, influence design decisions, mentor team members, and drive implementation strategies across cross-functional teams.

• Assist in QA testing and generate technical documentation for product validation and release.

• Diagnose complex production issues and collaborate with Operations and Customer Delivery teams to ensure platform stability and performance.

• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately one week per month.

• Foster partnerships with globally distributed teams and communicate effectively with developers, architects, and product managers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise-grade web applications, back-end services, and APIs from concept to deployment.

• Hands-on experience in independently translating business needs into scalable software solutions.

• Strong grasp of software development principles, design patterns, debugging practices, and modern software development lifecycle methodologies.

• Experience in Agile development environments with iterative product delivery.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Advanced proficiency with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, Entity Framework, Web API, MVC, and Web Forms.

• Experience handling large datasets and data-driven architecture.

• Expertise in designing, developing, and integrating RESTful APIs within enterprise settings.

• Familiarity with AWS and/or GCP cloud platforms.

• Proficient in Visual Studio and Windows-based development environments, source control, and collaborative development practices.

• Preferred: experience leading technical initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Preferred: exposure to cloud-native architectures, containerization, and application modernization.

• Preferred: experience with business data products or data-driven platforms.

• Preferred: experience mentoring developers and serving as a technical resource within Agile engineering teams.

• Preferred: strong presentation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional communication skills within global organizations.
