Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and implement features and architectures for clients spanning various industries.

• Seamlessly integrate into current teams and take true ownership of the technology function.

• Oversee the complete development lifecycle—from requirement analysis to go-live.

• Collaborate with founders and leads as a peer, providing a calming presence in high-pressure situations.

• Effectively utilize AI tools in everyday development tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working on projects—either as a freelancer or as part of a project team in dynamic client and requirement environments.

• Strong foundation in web technologies and associated tools—including build tools, CI/CD, REST APIs, relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis), and frameworks like Spring Boot.

• Authentic fullstack mindset: frontend, backend, DevOps, and observability.

• Experience with TypeScript and Angular or React.js on the frontend.

• Proficiency in at least one additional typed language—preferably Kotlin or Java.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices: understanding how software is deployed to production and remains stable.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby or Python is advantageous.

• Bonus: experience in app development using React Native or Flutter.

• Active involvement with AI in the software development process.

• Experience working in completely remote environments.

• Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on active listening and direct engagement rather than hiding behind tickets.

• Fluent in German and proficient in English.

• No specific degrees required; skills and mindset take precedence.
