Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and create intricate, high-traffic backend systems using Elixir.

• Facilitate technical discussions with Product Managers, Engineers, and Designers.

• Transform ambiguous requirements into detailed technical specifications.

• Provide mentorship to mid-level and junior engineers.

• Perform code reviews and promote technical excellence.

• Advocate for best practices in testing, documentation, and maintainability.

• Play a role in architectural decisions and the development of a scalable platform.

• Develop and enhance products that enhance fan engagement through CRM, SEO, affiliate programs, and paid marketing channels.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant production experience with Elixir, OTP, and Phoenix, or strong expertise in another functional programming language with a readiness to quickly learn Elixir.

• Demonstrated experience with React and modern JavaScript, as well as HTML and CSS.

• Proven success in designing and developing distributed systems at scale.

• Experience with the integration of complex third-party services and managing failure scenarios.

• Familiarity with CDN and edge caching technologies.

• In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL and Redis database internals and query performance optimization.

• Understanding of accessibility standards and SEO practices.

• Knowledge of browser testing and debugging techniques.

• Experience in mentoring engineers and shaping technical decisions.

• Strong technical leadership, ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Experience with MarTech platforms like Braze or Iterable is a plus.
