Senior Fullstack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

• Design and create comprehensive end-to-end full-stack applications.

• Develop scalable backend APIs and microservices.

• Build modern frontend applications utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Create self-service operational applications for business users.

• Design automation workflows and integrate systems across platforms.

• Convert traditional reporting and analytics solutions into automated operational workflows.

• Engage in architecture discussions, conduct code reviews, and uphold engineering best practices.

• Mentor fellow team members and help establish coding standards.

• Architect, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack solutions that support essential business operations.

• Create backend services, frontend applications, workflow orchestration capabilities, and system integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be based in LATAM.

• Over 5 years of experience in software development using Java or Python.

• More than 5 years of experience in backend API development.

• Solid experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, RPC, and JSON.

• Over 5 years of experience working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.

• At least 4 years of experience in building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.

• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS.

• Proven experience in leading code reviews and contributing to architectural decisions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience with billing platforms or payment solutions.

• Knowledge of service-oriented and event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.

• Experience in GraphQL frontend integration, such as with Apollo Client.

• Understanding of component-based design systems.

• Proficient in Jest and React Testing Library.

• Experience with Webpack or Vite.

• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.

• Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems, including scalability, replication, and redundancy patterns.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Availability to work in the US CST time zone.
