Senior Fullstack Engineer – All Identities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Acquire knowledge of therapist-interface workflows, familiarize yourself with the system architecture, and deliver initial enhancements within the first three months.

• Take ownership of larger full-stack features, overseeing the process from requirement gathering to implementation, testing, release, and iterative improvements.

• Develop and enhance features using Ruby on Rails for the backend and React with TypeScript for the frontend.

• Make informed technical decisions regarding code structure, testing methodologies, and gradual refactoring.

• Determine how to decompose and prioritize work while adhering to established engineering standards.

• Provide technical guidance that impacts shared architecture, other teams, or delivery commitments.

• Enhance the therapist experience as well as the reliability and maintainability of the software.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, four engineers, and a UX/UI Designer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in building and maintaining web applications in a production environment.

• Proficient experience with Ruby on Rails.

• Familiarity with React and contemporary TypeScript.

• Strong grasp of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Solid understanding of APIs and testing practices.

• Capability to navigate ambiguous requirements and make informed technical trade-offs.

• A product-oriented mindset focused on achieving desired outcomes.

• Judgement and independence to carry work from initial challenges to production readiness.

• Professional working proficiency in English.
