Senior Fullstack Engineer, AI Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain fullstack features for AI-driven tax preparation, planning, and review solutions.

• Create and execute React interfaces, TypeScript APIs, and Python backend services.

• Take ownership of features from the initial problem identification to implementation, release, and iteration.

• Utilize real usage data and customer insights to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

• Make product and technical decisions despite having incomplete information.

• Collaborate with engineering teams, AI specialists, product managers, and domain experts.

• Interact with customer-facing teams and actual users to refine solutions.

• Ensure a clean, typed, and efficient codebase.

• Balance the need for additional refinement with swift deployment and learning.

• Develop software that transforms how accounting firms in the US prepare and review taxes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of senior-level commercial experience in building fullstack applications using React and Python.

• Strong product-oriented mindset focused on addressing user challenges and achieving outcomes.

• Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of a topic from vague requirements to a production-ready solution.

• Comfortable making decisions with incomplete information and defining scope.

• Practical engineering mindset that balances quality, speed, and business impact.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as Google Cloud and/or Azure.

• Experience in a dynamic startup or scale-up environment is an advantage.

• Experience in taking a product or significant feature from inception to launch is a plus.

• Background in developing software within regulated or complex domains is a bonus.

• Previous involvement with AI/LLM-enabled products is a plus.

• Experience working directly with users or leveraging product metrics and customer feedback is an advantage.
