Senior Fullstack Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance full-stack applications utilizing Angular and Spring Boot.

• Create robust, secure, and scalable backend APIs using Java.

• Develop rich, responsive user interfaces with Angular.

• Engage throughout the entire software lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Implement Clean Architecture, Clean Code, SOLID principles, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Design Patterns.

• Lead and support practices in Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Code Reviews.

• Integrate systems utilizing SQL relational and NoSQL databases, including Oracle 12g and MongoDB.

• Assist in making strategic architectural decisions regarding frontend-backend communication.

• Operate in an agile Scrum/Kanban environment with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.

• Promote engineering, automation, and observability best practices.

• Provide application support, troubleshoot issues, and modernize legacy applications.

• Utilize Git for version control of the codebase.

• Develop Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes using Spring Batch.

• Create interfaces with the internal Bootstrap framework.

• Create and consume RESTful services.

• Document services using Swagger 2.0.

• Implement DevOps practices utilizing Jenkins and Sonar.

• Manage containerization through Docker and OpenShift.

• Create and consume both REST and SOAP APIs while adopting an API-first approach.

• Maintain legacy systems on WebSphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Fullstack Java Developer.

• Proficiency in Java 8 or later.

• Experience with Spring Boot.

• Familiarity with REST and SOAP APIs.

• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

• Experience with messaging systems, specifically RabbitMQ.

• Proficient in SQL, including query writing and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.

• Experience with Angular 11 or newer.

• Proficiency in TypeScript and RxJS.

• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and responsive design.

• Experience with Single Page Applications (SPAs) and state management.

• Testing experience with Jasmine/Karma.

• Familiarity with TDD/BDD utilizing JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD processes.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of SOLID principles, Clean Code, and Clean Architecture.

• Nice to have: Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud technologies, hexagonal/event-driven architecture, observability with Datadog/Grafana, Sensedia/MuleSoft gateways, and working with mission-critical, high-performance systems.

• Knowledge of Oracle 12g and MongoDB.

• Familiarity with Swagger 2.0.

• Experience with Jenkins and Sonar.

• Proficiency in OpenShift.

• Experience with WebSphere for maintaining legacy systems.
