Senior Fullstack Developer – Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and improve full-stack applications utilizing Angular and Spring Boot.

• Build robust, secure, and scalable backend APIs using Java.

• Create dynamic, responsive user interfaces based on Angular.

• Engage in the entire software development lifecycle: from conception and development to testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Implement Clean Architecture, Clean Code principles, SOLID design, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and Design Patterns.

• Lead and facilitate Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Code Review initiatives.

• Integrate systems using relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle 12g and MongoDB.

• Assist in making strategic architectural decisions regarding frontend-backend communication.

• Operate within an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.

• Promote advancements in engineering, automation, and observability practices.

• Provide application support, diagnose failures, and modernize legacy applications.

• Manage version control of code using Git.

• Develop ETL processes with Spring Batch.

• Create interfaces using the internal Bootstrap framework.

• Develop and consume REST services.

• Document services with Swagger 2.0.

• Implement DevOps practices utilizing Jenkins and Sonar.

• Oversee containerization using Docker and OpenShift.

• Adopt an API-first approach and maintain legacy WebSphere systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Fullstack Java Developer.

• Proficiency in Java 8 or higher.

• Familiarity with Spring Boot framework.

• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.

• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

• Experience with messaging systems, specifically RabbitMQ.

• Strong SQL skills, including query development and performance tuning.

• Experience with NoSQL databases.

• Understanding of SOLID principles.

• Experience in Clean Code and Clean Architecture practices.

• Proficiency in Angular 11 or later.

• Knowledge of TypeScript and RxJS.

• Skills in HTML, CSS, and responsive design techniques.

• Experience with Single Page Applications (SPAs) and state management.

• Testing experience using Jasmine and Karma.

• TDD/BDD experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Cucumber.

• Familiarity with Git and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Familiarity with Sensedia and MuleSoft API gateways is a plus.

• Nice to have experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud technologies, hexagonal/event-driven architecture, and observability tools like Datadog and Grafana.

• Experience with high-performance, mission-critical systems.

• Availability to work under the CLT employment regime.
