This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.
β’ Lead the structured integration of AI-enhanced software development utilizing Claude AI across various technology teams.
β’ Create and deliver high-quality, hands-on full-stack web applications and APIs using Node.js and Vue.js.
β’ Develop, scale, and sustain back-end services and contemporary front-end interfaces for high-scale SaaS platforms.
β’ Serve as the primary contact for AI augmentation within the team, overseeing implementation, testing, code reviews, documentation, and maintenance.
β’ Leverage Claude Code for tasks at the repository level, including diff reviews and pull request management.
β’ Set up and manage CLAUDE.md project context files, development standards, guardrails, and acceptance criteria.
β’ Design and oversee the development of subagents, skills, and standard prompt libraries.
β’ Integrate agents with internal tools, repositories, task management systems, databases, and observability platforms through MCP.
β’ Execute CI/CD quality automations for automated pull request reviews, compliance checks, and test coverage.
β’ Employ context engineering for large or legacy codebases and systematically validate outputs.
β’ Facilitate pair programming, developer onboarding, and practical enablement for AI-assisted workflows.
β’ Track AI adoption metrics, including lead time, pull request throughput, and defect rates.
β’ Establish criteria for human-in-the-loop code reviews.
β’ Maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs, architectural decisions, component designs, and guidelines for SDLC AI adoption.
β’ Support operations, risk management, and sustainability services within the technology ecosystem of a global client.
β’ Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer.
β’ At least 12 months of professional daily experience using Claude Code within the SDLC.
β’ Strong back-end development skills with Node.js, RESTful/event-driven APIs, SOLID principles, and clean coding practices.
β’ Solid front-end development experience with Vue.js, Composition API, state management, routing, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
β’ Familiarity with reusable component architecture, Design Systems, and UI component libraries such as PrimeVue and eCharts.
β’ Demonstrated experience in applying Claude AI across implementation, testing, code reviews, documentation, and maintenance.
β’ Proficient with Claude Code for repository-level tasks, diff reviews, branch workflows, and pull request integrations.
β’ Experience in configuring and managing CLAUDE.md context files, custom subagents, skills, and prompt templates.
β’ Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration.
β’ Experience in establishing CI/CD pipeline automations using hooks and Claude.
β’ Background in context engineering, task breakdown, and context window management on complex or legacy codebases.
β’ Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, Azure, Docker, Redis, and MongoDB.
β’ Experience in API management, contract versioning, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, and XSS/CSRF protection.
β’ Proven experience in implementing unit, integration, and UI testing.
β’ Knowledge of web accessibility (A11y), performance profiling, and observability, including logs, metrics, and tracing.
β’ English language proficiency at a minimum level of B2+ for professional working purposes.
β’ Currently residing legally with a work permit in Portugal, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, or Romania.
β’ Must comply with legal residency requirements; no visa sponsorship or relocation support is offered.
β’ Experience with Claude Agent SDK / Claude API is a strong advantage, though not required.
