Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of mobile features from initial scoping and stakeholder identification all the way to delivery.

• Manage the complete release cycle, which includes versioning, build pipelines, submissions to the App Store and Google Play, responding to reviews, and handling rollbacks.

• Develop and sustain a shared mobile architecture for various custom-branded client applications.

• Troubleshoot issues across the React Native and native code interface.

• Ensure applications stay ahead of the requirements set by iOS and Android platforms.

• Contribute to system design while maintaining high standards for code quality, testing, and reliability.

• Engage in code reviews and work collaboratively with team members on technical challenges.

• Liaise with team members, leadership, and clients to achieve business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in building and deploying production mobile applications, with a strong focus on React Native and TypeScript.

• Personally delivered applications to both the App Store and Google Play, managing the release and review processes.

• Proficient in working with native code, including handling output from Xcode and Android Studio, addressing native dependencies and SDK challenges, as well as resolving platform-specific bugs.

• Familiarity with offline functionality, deep linking, push notifications, secure local storage, and performance profiling.

• A solid foundation in Node.js, tRPC, MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL, and AWS (including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, CDK).

• Capable of effectively scoping work, identifying edge cases, and questioning requirements with minimal product management oversight.

• Enthusiastic about system design, code quality, type safety, and long-term maintainability.

• Excellent communication skills, valuing collaboration and contributing positively to an inclusive team culture.

• Proactive and solution-focused, with the ability to balance speed and quality.

• Strong skills in web-based React front-end development (bonus).

• Experience with white-label or multi-tenant mobile applications (bonus).

• Background in regulated industries such as healthcare (bonus).

• Residing in or willing to relocate to the Phoenix area (bonus).
