Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance full-stack applications utilizing contemporary web technologies.

• Spearhead the architecture and execution of scalable microservices, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.

• Create and sustain front-end applications employing React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Construct backend services using Java, Node.js, or Python, while integrating with databases and external systems.

• Promote software engineering best practices, encompassing code reviews, design patterns, and scalable architectures.

• Engage with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Enhance database performance through the use of relational and NoSQL solutions.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software.

• Mentor and support junior engineers in their professional development.

• Ensure the availability, security, and performance of applications through vigilant monitoring and testing.

• Refine CI/CD pipelines, development workflows, and automation strategies.

• Contribute to technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer, specializing in scalable web applications.

• Extensive experience in backend development using Java, Node.js, Python, or Go.

• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).

• Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and serverless computing.

• Solid understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).

• Knowledge of secure coding practices and principles of software supply chain security.

• Prior experience in technical leadership and mentoring is preferred.

• Comfortable working in a remote-first, agile environment is preferred.

• A passion for open-source technologies is preferred.
