Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure and scalable applications within an Azure cloud environment.

• Create full-stack solutions utilizing Python, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, REST APIs, and microservice architectures.

• Enhance and modify existing applications while contributing to product delivery through coding and conducting pull request reviews.

• Design, develop, and integrate AI-enhanced capabilities, such as LLM integrations, RAG, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation using platforms like Azure OpenAI.

• Implement and sustain AI orchestration and inference pipelines, ensuring optimal performance, cost efficiency, observability, and responsible usage.

• Utilize best practices in software engineering, including testing, monitoring, CI/CD, observability, and secure SDLC, for production systems.

• Assess and prototype new AI tools and frameworks, while leveraging AI-assisted development tools.

• Guarantee data privacy, security, governance, and compliance for functionalities enabled by AI.

• Independently define and prioritize goals and tasks in an agile product environment.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects and stakeholders to create design plans, address production issues, and develop sustainable solutions.

• Mentor engineers on software engineering best practices, cloud-native architecture, and AI integration patterns.

• Propose solutions for complex challenges, build consensus within the team, and influence technical direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of software development experience with Python and creating cloud-native applications in Azure.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Proven experience in developing modern web applications with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and application architecture.

• Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.

• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and MySQL.

• Background in conducting code reviews and mentoring fellow engineers.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software development best practices.

• Experience integrating AI capabilities, including Azure OpenAI, LLMs, RAG, or vector databases.

• Preferably experienced with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

• Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or a willingness to learn it.

• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms.

• Knowledge of application observability utilizing OpenTelemetry.
