Senior Full Stack Product Engineer, Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create both front-end and back-end solutions for user-facing and administrative platforms in alignment with UX/UI designs.

• Assist Product Managers, Engineering Manager, and the team in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Determine front-end and back-end architectural solutions grounded in business logic and requirements.

• Navigate and manage technical complexities.

• Contribute to the design, architecture, and scalability of the platform.

• Develop APIs, web interfaces, internal tools, and new features.

• Enhance user experience and product quality to the fullest extent.

• Engage in project delivery, stakeholder coordination, and collaboration with Product and Design teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience of 4 to 5+ years in independently managing and delivering projects, stakeholders, and team members.

• Background in tech leadership and delegation.

• Ability to manage project requirements, implementation, and delivery of back-end/front-end solutions independently.

• Focused on outcomes and product-driven results.

• Experience in delivery management and Agile methodologies.

• Collaborative experience with Product and Design on business requirements.

• Knowledge and advocacy for AI development workflows, including Cursor/Copilot and Claude Code CLI or Gemini CLI.

• Proficiency in English.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, multi-market, remote-first setting.

• Expertise in Node.js/TypeScript and extensive knowledge of NestJS.

• Familiarity with Vue/Nuxt3 and TypeScript; React is acceptable, but coding will primarily be in Vue.js.

• Proficient in HTML5 and CSS3.

• Understanding of SEO and UI/UX principles for mobile and desktop applications.

• Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.

• Knowledge of unit and integration testing.

• Proficient in SQL with Postgres/BigQuery or MySQL.

• Experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions or similar tools.

• Familiarity with Docker and container management within development environments.

• Bonus: Knowledge of Clean Code, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, MikroORM, Vitest/Jest/Mocha, microservices architecture, and RabbitMQ/Kafka.

• Must be a freelancer with a VAT number.
