Senior Full Stack Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Design and implement front-end and back-end solutions for user-facing and administrative platforms in accordance with UX/UI specifications.

• Assist Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and the team in providing high-quality, scalable solutions.

• Determine front-end and back-end architectural approaches based on business logic and requirements.

• Navigate technical complexities effectively.

• Contribute to the development of new features, architecture, and performance enhancements throughout the stack.

• Enhance user experience and product quality to the highest standards.

• Engage with WeRoad’s Supply Platform, developed using Nest and Vue.

• Work collaboratively with Product and Design teams to devise optimal solutions for business needs.

• Participate in a recruitment process that includes a talent acquisition call, a technical take-home assignment, a knowledge interview, and a Culture Champions step.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience of 4 to 5+ years in independently managing and delivering projects, while engaging stakeholders and team members.

• Background in tech leadership is essential.

• Proven capability in autonomously handling project requirements and delivering backend/frontend solutions.

• A focus on outcomes and a product-driven approach.

• Experience in delivery management and familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Collaborative experience with Product and Design teams to address business requirements.

• Knowledge and advocacy for AI development workflows, including tools like Cursor/Copilot and Claude Code CLI or Gemini CLI.

• Proficiency in English.

• Experience with Vue/Nuxt3 or React and TypeScript.

• Familiarity with Node and NestJS.

• Understanding of SEO and UI/UX principles for both mobile and desktop applications.

• Experience working with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.

• Experience in unit and integration testing.

• Knowledge of SQL and experience with Postgres/BigQuery or MySQL databases.

• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

• Familiarity with Docker and managing development containers.

• Bonus: Knowledge of Clean Code, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, Vitest/Jest/Pest, microservices, RabbitMQ, Kafka, A/B testing tools, and domain-driven design.
