Senior Full Stack .Net Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Actively participate as a member of the software development team within an Agile setting.

• Engage in Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews and Demos, Retrospectives, and Risk meetings.

• Create .NET web applications utilizing C#, alongside unit testing, NUnit, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Design, construct, and troubleshoot web-based applications using cloud-native services and architecture.

• Develop metadata-driven solutions to fulfill customer needs.

• Ensure optimal application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

• Offer development support for solutions implemented in production.

• Implement reusable long-term solutions and foundational elements within the Agile framework.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to address project requirements.

• Advocate for software engineering practices such as test automation, modularization, and simplification.

• Coordinate and work together with colleagues on problem-solving and solution development.

• Document software designs, including design diagrams, data flow diagrams, and descriptions of software modules.

• Utilize Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git in development processes.

• Operate within Windows operating systems and environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science with at least 10 years of experience in software development.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust that necessitates US citizenship.

• Experience in system design and development within the Microsoft .NET environment.

• Strong background in .Net Core, Angular, and Razor technologies.

• Proficiency in implementing software design patterns in C# (including CQRS, Mediator, Adapter, Factory, Singleton, and other Gang-of-Four patterns).

• Comprehensive understanding of application security principles, with experience in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and JWT.

• Familiarity with REST and SOAP API development.

• Experience with XML and JSON data formats.

• Knowledge of Azure Services.

• Understanding of Section 508 and accessibility coding practices.

• Proficient with MS SQL Server databases and complex SQL queries.

• Experience in Agile development practices utilizing Azure DevOps and cloud-based pipelines.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and PowerShell.

• Regularly engage in design, code reviews, and system updates through Agile development processes.

• Excellent skills in troubleshooting, problem resolution, written communication, and oral communication.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in team environments across diverse projects involving multiple stakeholders and developers with varying skillsets.
