Senior Full Stack Engineer – Shopify

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications.

• Build and enhance features within the SaaS platform and Shopify ecosystem.

• Review and refine code while mentoring and supporting junior team members.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Develop and maintain integrations between Shopify and internal business systems.

• Contribute to decisions regarding technical architecture and best practice standards.

• Enhance development processes.

• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.

• Participate in code reviews.

• Engage with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Full Stack Engineer in a SaaS environment.

• Capability to work independently and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

• Strong commercial experience with PHP and Laravel.

• Proficient front-end skills in React or a similar framework, along with CSS.

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development.

• Experience with Git and contemporary CI/CD practices.

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.

• Knowledge of TDD, BDD, Clean Code, and SOLID principles.

• Experience in building and deploying custom Shopify apps.

• Expertise in Shopify Functions, Shopify Flow, and custom checkout extensions.

• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, PIM, and third-party fulfillment systems.

• Familiarity with headless commerce architectures utilizing Shopify Hydrogen/Oxygen.

• Experience in developing and maintaining Shopify or Shopify Plus solutions.

• Must have the right to work in Bulgaria; visa sponsorship is not provided.
