Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Node.js, React, Flutter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Create and implement software applications utilizing Node.js, React, and Flutter.

• Develop clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

• Conduct testing and quality assurance for newly developed features.

• Identify and resolve issues across the entire technology stack.

• Engage in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers.

• Assess and incorporate AI tools into the development process.

• Collaborate with team members to devise technical solutions.

• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers regarding the technology stack and best development practices.

• Participate in architectural decision-making and technical discussions.

• Establish technical direction and promote team best practices.

• Contribute to aspects of moderately complex projects.

• Take initiative in identifying problems and developing solutions.

• Operate independently while fostering team collaboration.

• Assist in project planning and estimation tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6+ years of relevant professional experience in software development.

• At least 4 years of practical experience with Node.js development.

• Minimum of 3 years working with React.js.

• Experience in creating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints.

• Proficient in SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies.

• Knowledge of server architecture, middleware, and backend frameworks like Express.js or Fastify.

• Proficient in Dart programming.

• Familiarity with Flutter and cross-platform mobile app development.

• Understanding of Flutter widgets and state management techniques.

• Skilled in Git and collaborative development practices.

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and related testing frameworks.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities across the full stack.

• Familiarity with modern development tools, IDEs, and build processes.

• Proficient with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor.

• Experience integrating LLM APIs via AWS Bedrock into production environments.

• Basic knowledge of prompt engineering principles.

• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, vector databases, or retrieval-augmented generation patterns is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.

• Experience in collaborative development settings.

• Proven ability to work on projects of moderate complexity.

• Preferred: Knowledge of AWS Cloud, Docker, CI/CD, DevOps, microservices architecture, mobile app deployment, Agile/Scrum methodologies, open source contributions, and technical writing/documentation skills.
