Senior Full-Stack Engineer, JavaScript, Node.js, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Construct, enhance, and oversee Node.js microservices, REST APIs, along with GraphQL or gRPC integrations.

• Create reusable and accessible React UI components, content blocks, and dynamic workflow forms.

• Design and refine SSR and SSG workflows utilizing Next.js.

• Specify content schemas and models in Contentstack and various headless CMS platforms.

• Establish and maintain A/B testing frameworks, experiment tracking, and user personalization engines.

• Integrate third-party APIs and external web services, including Redis caching layers and mapping systems.

• Diagnose data flows and enhance web vitals and caching mechanisms.

• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.

• Uphold code quality standards using ESLint and Prettier in Git CI/CD workflows.

• Leverage AI coding assistants to expedite feature development, debugging, refactoring, and test automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4–5+ years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong practical skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Advanced knowledge of React and Next.js or similar SSR/SSG frameworks.

• Direct experience in developing REST APIs and GraphQL or gRPC services.

• Proficiency in configuring modern Headless CMS platforms like Contentstack, Contentful, or Strapi.

• Experience writing unit, integration, and E2E tests using Jest, Playwright, or React Testing Library.

• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD processes.

• Practical experience in implementing web personalization engines and A/B testing frameworks.

• Active engagement with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot.

• Knowledge of Emotion, CSS-in-JS, Storybook or Chromatic, and enterprise component design systems.

• Hands-on experience with Koa or Express.js and Redis in-memory caching.

• Exposure to Google Maps API integrations.

• Experience with testing web accessibility standards (a11y).

• Flexibility to align with Central Time and Eastern Time / North America business hours.

• Proficient English skills for interviews, documentation, and daily communication.
