Senior Full Stack Engineer, Java – Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and TypeScript.

• Create and implement new features for both frontend and backend systems.

• Construct, integrate, and manage REST APIs and microservices.

• Establish integrations between various platforms and enterprise systems.

• Engage in technical design, architectural decisions, and the creation of scalable solutions.

• Aid in application modernization and the advancement of legacy systems.

• Produce clean, testable, and maintainable code in accordance with engineering standards and best practices.

• Perform code reviews to enhance the technical quality of project deliverables.

• Diagnose and rectify application, integration, and performance issues.

• Assist in incident resolution and conduct root cause analyses.

• Ensure that security, scalability, quality, performance, and maintainability standards are upheld.

• Collaborate with international teams in technology, architecture, business analysis, product management, and other stakeholders.

• Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines using Git, Maven, Jenkins, and associated tools.

• Work with relational databases to optimize integration and data operation efficiency.

• Contribute to cloud-based, containerized, orchestrated, and event-driven architecture solutions when applicable.

• Offer technical support to fellow developers by sharing expertise and best practices.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and assist in planning, refinement, and delivery processes.

• Balance application support, issue resolution, modernization efforts, and the development of new features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2), capable of effective communication in an international setting.

• Proven experience in developing Full Stack applications using Java and Angular.

• In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, TypeScript, and JavaScript.

• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs and microservices.

• Familiarity with Hibernate, JPA, and relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.

• Background in software architecture, object-oriented principles, system design, and development best practices.

• Experience with mission-critical enterprise applications, complex integrations, scalability, and handling high transaction volumes.

• Proficient in Git, Maven, Jenkins, and CI/CD processes.

• Experience in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and application support within production environments.

• Familiarity with modernizing legacy systems and evolving enterprise platforms.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with engineering, architecture, product, and business analysis teams.

• Strong analytical abilities, independence, clear communication skills, and a focus on delivery quality.

• Preferred qualifications include experience in the financial services sector, familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging technologies, knowledge of event-driven architectures, AWS or other cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, monitoring and observability, application security, modernization and digital transformation, engagement with international stakeholders, mentoring or technical leadership, and certifications related to Java, AWS, Azure, Agile, or software development.
