Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of Techstars OS features from initial design and data ingestion/API layers to testing, web app development, and deployment.

• Develop AI-native functionalities such as semantic and federated search, portfolio and founder data retrieval, and assistive workflows.

• Oversee the migration and decommissioning of legacy founder tools, including Techstars Universe and the application management system.

• Integrate old functionalities into Techstars OS or phase them out effectively.

• Create data pipelines within the Enterprise Data Platform and OS to support real-time features, search capabilities, and AI applications.

• Enhance reliability and efficiency through testing, code review, CI/CD processes, and best practices for AI coding tools.

• Serve as a technical resource by assisting teammates, contributing to architectural decisions, and maintaining context across different time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in TypeScript and Python.

• Strong experience with React.

• Skilled in relational databases, encompassing data modeling, migrations, and query performance.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL.

• Experience in constructing end-to-end data pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, and delivery.

• Knowledge of event streaming or similar systems.

• Proven experience in deploying LLM-backed features to production, including retrieval, embeddings, and evaluation processes.

• Experience managing containerized services in a major cloud environment.

• Proficient in infrastructure as code practices.

• Familiarity with GCP and AWS.

• Demonstrated ability to lead features from inception to production.

• Experience in phasing out legacy systems without disrupting downstream applications.

• Excellent written communication skills.

• High level of autonomy and self-management.

• Ability to thrive in a remote-first work environment while maintaining effective communication and alignment independently.
