Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and execute comprehensive product functionalities across frontend interfaces, backend systems, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.

• Convert product specifications, UX designs, and acceptance criteria into scalable technical solutions.

• Oversee the technical design of moderately complex to complex projects.

• Decompose large capabilities into actionable technical components and development increments.

• Develop user interfaces that are responsive, accessible, and maintainable.

• Design and implement backend services, application APIs, business logic, data models, and asynchronous workflows.

• Construct and sustain integrations with enterprise platforms, data sources, AI services, media providers, and external systems.

• Contribute to capabilities in video creation, rendering, personalization, animation, asset management, analytics, and distribution.

• Proactively identify concerns related to performance, scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability before they lead to production issues.

• Write automated tests for unit, integration, components, and end-to-end processes.

• Engage in code reviews and establish standards for code quality and engineering consistency.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate production issues across both application and infrastructure layers.

• Enhance observability through structured logging, monitoring, metrics, tracing, and actionable alerts.

• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams throughout the delivery process.

• Mentor mid-level engineers through technical advice, code reviews, pairing, and constructive feedback.

• Contribute to architectural standards, engineering practices, shared components, and reusable platform capabilities.

• Use AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly for development, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and code modernization.

• Participate in release readiness, production support, incident response, and root-cause analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software development experience, with significant expertise in building production SaaS applications.

• Proficient in full-stack development with modern JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Advanced experience with a modern frontend framework, ideally React.

• Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, frontend performance, responsive design, and browser behavior.

• Experience in developing complex, workflow-oriented web applications.

• Solid backend development experience with Node.js, Python, Java, C#, or similar server-side technologies.

• Experience in designing and implementing REST APIs, event-driven services, background jobs, and asynchronous workflows.

• Strong grasp of relational and non-relational data modeling.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or another contemporary relational database.

• Experience integrating with third-party APIs, authentication services, data platforms, or enterprise systems.

• Strong knowledge of cloud-native application development, preferably in AWS.

• Experience with containers, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure environments, and contemporary deployment practices.

• Strong understanding of automated testing strategies across unit, integration, API, component, and end-to-end levels.

• Experience diagnosing issues in distributed applications using logs, metrics, traces, database analysis, and browser tools.

• Working knowledge of application security, authorization, identity management, secrets management, data protection, and secure coding practices.

• Experience with Git-based development workflows, pull requests, code reviews, branching strategies, and automated quality checks.

• Strong understanding of software design principles, modular architecture, scalability, technical debt management, and maintainability.

• Preferred: experience with video, audio, media processing, creative tools, animation, rendering, or digital asset management.

• Preferred: experience with browser-based motion graphics using React, JavaScript, CSS animations, Canvas, WebGL, or related technologies.

• Preferred: experience with AI platforms, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt orchestration, or AI-generated media.

• Preferred: experience in building configurable enterprise platforms with permissions, approval workflows, auditability, and governance controls.

• Preferred: experience with message queues, event buses, serverless services, or distributed job-processing systems.

• Preferred: experience with infrastructure as code and production observability platforms.

• Preferred: experience in a multi-tenant SaaS environment.

• Preferred: experience in enhancing or modernizing an established software platform while simultaneously delivering new product capabilities.
