Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop high-performance, secure, and thoroughly tested web applications with an emphasis on automation and security.

• Design, refine, and enhance APIs that connect front-end and back-end software services.

• Oversee essential feature development throughout the entire software development lifecycle.

• Integrate user feedback, system requirements, design engineering, and evolving customer needs into the development process.

• Perform comprehensive code reviews to uphold quality standards and promote best practices.

• Convert design mockups into functional and visually appealing user interfaces.

• Employ modern front-end frameworks and technologies such as FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgREST, Svelte, React, CesiumJS, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and Kubernetes.

• Champion product quality, security, and performance enhancements.

• Mentor and provide technical direction to junior engineers.

• Serve as an individual contributor while also leading junior engineers.

• Assist in establishing technical practices and ensuring quality and consistency as the engineering team expands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of increasingly responsible web development experience utilizing modern software development methodologies.

• Significant expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and web frameworks like React and Svelte.

• Familiarity with caching, authentication, and Content Security Policy (CSP).

• Profound understanding of open architecture constructs such as OMS, UCI, and OCI.

• Experience with containerized microservices architectures, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Strong fundamentals in backend programming along with experience in front-end and backend integration.

• Proven experience in developing, testing, and deploying software within air-gapped or highly secure government network environments.

• Active Secret security clearance.

• Qualified to obtain and maintain TS/SCI access.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Required to obtain and retain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance and be eligible for TS/SCI clearance.

• Must meet applicable U.S. Government export-control eligibility criteria.
