Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from start to finish across Node.js and Express backends as well as React/Tailwind frontends.

• Develop APIs, user interfaces, and data flows that power customer-facing functionalities.

• Contribute to the platform's data management, authentication processes, and service architectures.

• Collaborate with the AI lead to integrate functionality powered by LLM into product interfaces.

• Link frontends to LLM and MCP endpoints effectively.

• Manage streaming, errors, and degraded states with finesse.

• Assist in evaluations, fixtures, and tools that support AI development.

• Leverage full-stack capabilities across backend, frontend, and AI tasks.

• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and promote shared engineering practices.

• Utilize AI coding tools adeptly within the daily engineering workflow.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a track record of successful full-stack work in production environments.

• Expertise in JavaScript or TypeScript for both Node.js backend and React frontend development.

• Hands-on experience with document or NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.

• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs and understanding JSON contracts.

• A genuine passion for agents, MCP, and applied AI, along with a desire to develop substantial expertise in these domains.

• Competence in using AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) as part of your daily workflow.

• Familiarity with SDKs from LLM providers like Anthropic, OpenAI, or others.

• Exposure to MCP, agent frameworks, or features integrated with LLM products.

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Background in regulated software environments (SOC 2, HIPAA, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11) or life-sciences SaaS.

• Understanding of authentication patterns such as Passport, OAuth, OIDC, or similar.

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Relevant technical certifications are encouraged.
