Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain comprehensive product features across both Back-end and Front-end systems.

• Create scalable services, APIs, and workflow-driven solutions that support essential business operations.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to establish requirements and influence product direction.

• Convert operational and business processes into intuitive and scalable software experiences.

• Engage in architecture discussions, technical planning, and code reviews.

• Take ownership of features throughout the entire development lifecycle, from discovery to deployment.

• Assess technical decisions from both engineering and user-impact viewpoints.

• Enhance product quality, scalability, developer experience, and operational efficiency.

• Thrive in a startup environment with shifting priorities and evolving requirements.

• Actively contribute to technical and product discussions and recommend improvements when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript with substantial Back-end development skills.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering production-ready product features from start to finish.

• Significant experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.

• Proficient in developing scalable services and APIs.

• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.

• Understanding of contemporary software architecture and engineering best practices.

• Capability to work independently and take charge of technical solutions.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and comfort with ambiguity.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Product-oriented mindset in software development.

• Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher.

• Experience participating in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Ability to balance technical quality with business and user needs.

• Experience with NestJS.

• Familiarity with Next.js and React.

• Experience with Temporal or other workflow orchestration platforms.

• Background in startup or high-growth product environments.

• Experience in fintech products or platforms.

• Knowledge of payment systems, billing, invoicing, or transaction-focused products.
