Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Armenia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain high-quality production-grade applications utilizing React and TypeScript.

• Take ownership of significant backend services and APIs built on Node.js/TypeScript.

• Participate in making architectural and technical design choices.

• Build, deploy, and manage applications hosted on AWS.

• Ensure systems are reliable, scalable, high-performing, and maintainable.

• Design and interact with PostgreSQL databases, focusing on schemas, queries, migrations, data modeling, and performance enhancement.

• Collaborate with engineering leadership and team members on architecture, implementation, code quality, and production results.

• Identify and resolve production issues while enhancing existing systems.

• Contribute to engineering standards and long-term technical strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Proven success in owning and delivering production systems.

• Consistent employment history.

• Strong, recent hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in building production frontend applications.

• Considerable, recent experience with Node.js and TypeScript in backend development.

• Experience managing production APIs or services.

• Practical experience with AWS and PostgreSQL in a production environment.

• Familiarity with AWS Fargate/ECS, containers, S3, and CloudFront is highly preferred.

• Proficiency in Russian is mandatory.

• Strong communication skills in English for discussing technical decisions, architecture, responsibilities, and production outcomes.

• Experience in fintech, payments, regulated systems, or SOC 1/SOC 2 is a significant advantage.
