Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and implement features across mobile applications utilizing Vue, TypeScript, and Capacitor.

• Create scalable backend infrastructures using Python, Flask, Postgres, Redis, and AWS.

• Influence architectural decisions and technical strategy.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define and implement solutions.

• Deconstruct complex problems into manageable, shippable components.

• Maintain a balance between rapid delivery and long-term sustainability.

• Engage in the on-call rotation as required.

• Contribute to design discussions, code evaluations, and provide mentorship.

• Develop systems that serve millions of Americans in accessing food, healthcare, and financial resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and maintaining complex full-stack systems.

• Proven experience in startup or high-ambiguity settings.

• Strong foundation in system design and product engineering principles.

• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, or a readiness to quickly learn.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Comfort with uncertainty, strong product intuition, and an inclination toward proactive action.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
