Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design and develop comprehensive product features that span backend services and the React frontend.

• Create structured, testable backend services alongside clean, reusable frontend components.

• Enhance performance, usability, and ensure long-term maintainability.

• Contribute to a multi-stack production environment and advance the overall architectural framework.

• Model domains, establish boundaries, and participate in architectural decision-making.

• Leverage AI tools to expedite development while reviewing and validating the generated code.

• Take ownership of CI/CD processes, observability, performance, and production behavior.

• Engage in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Enhance reliability, security, and operational resilience.

• Elevate engineering standards through constructive feedback, practical decision-making, and continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven full-stack engineering expertise.

• Extensive backend experience in Java, Node.js, or another contemporary technology stack.

• Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.

• Experience incorporating AI tools into development workflows, demonstrating sound engineering judgment to assess and strengthen AI-generated code.

• Understanding of system design, data modeling, trade-offs, and long-term maintainability.

• Ability to work comfortably across Java, Node.js, React, and existing PHP systems.

• Grasp of boundaries, contracts, invariants, and architectural consistency.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, AWS cloud environments, and observability practices.

• Production ownership that extends beyond code merging.

• Commercial full-stack engineering experience, as indicated in the required application question.
