Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Create and deliver production-ready systems that integrate software engineering, data infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.

• Develop secure and scalable full-stack product functionalities.

• Design data models, APIs, integrations, and backend architectures.

• Establish dependable data pipelines with comprehensive validation and observability.

• Launch high-value, trustworthy AI/LLM-driven features.

• Construct secure agentic workflows that include scoped tools, permissions, logging, evaluations, and error management.

• Troubleshoot issues across data ingestion, transformation, databases, APIs, user interfaces, and AI contexts.

• Architect systems with considerations for security, privacy, auditability, and observability.

• Collaborate across data ingestion, transformation, storage, APIs, product interfaces, AI workflows, agentic systems, and observability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in developing production software.

• Proficient in TypeScript, React, and SQL.

• Extensive expertise in backend architecture, APIs, data modeling, and debugging in production environments.

• Considerable experience with data pipelines, integrations, or data-intensive systems.

• Background in creating systems that manage sensitive, regulated, and high-trust data.

• Proven track record of delivering robust AI/LLM-driven features in production.

• Strong grasp of evaluations, hallucinations, malformed outputs, retrieval quality, latency, costs, model drift, and provider risks.

• Sound judgment on when to leverage LLMs, retrieval methods, enhanced data foundations, or deterministic code.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High sense of ownership, agency, and humility.

• Knowledge of prompt injection, permission boundaries, data exfiltration risks, secret management, audit logs, and human-in-the-loop reviews.

• Familiarity with access control, Postgres RLS, handling PII, secrets management, audit trails, least privilege principles, secure integrations, and safe utilization of third-party APIs.

• Experience in data validation, reconciliation, lineage tracking, observability, or audit systems.

• Background in AI evaluations, AI observability, agent testing, or red-teaming AI systems.
