Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Develop AI-centric products utilizing reliable, secure, and high-quality data systems for a venture capital and private equity client.

• Collaborate on data ingestion, transformation, storage, APIs, product surfaces, AI workflows, agentic systems, and observability.

• Construct secure and scalable full-stack product features.

• Design data models, APIs, integrations, and backend architecture.

• Establish reliable data pipelines with robust validation and observability.

• Deliver high-value, trustworthy AI/LLM-powered features.

• Create secure agentic workflows incorporating scoped tools, permissions, logging, evaluations, and failure handling.

• Troubleshoot issues across ingestion, transformation, database, API, UI, and AI contexts.

• Design systems prioritizing security, privacy, auditability, and observability.

• Engage in an introductory call, client introduction, test task, final client interview, and offer process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in building production software.

• Proficient in TypeScript, React, and SQL.

• Extensive knowledge in backend architecture, APIs, data modeling, and debugging production issues.

• Significant experience with data pipelines, integrations, or data-intensive systems.

• Proven track record in building systems that manage sensitive, regulated, and high-trust data.

• Practical experience in delivering robust AI/LLM-powered features.

• Familiarity with evaluations, hallucinations, malformed outputs, retrieval quality, latency, cost, model drift, and provider risk.

• Ability to determine when to utilize an LLM, retrieval methods, enhanced data foundations, or deterministic code.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High level of ownership, agency, and humility.

• Understanding of prompt injection, permission boundaries, data exfiltration risks, secrets management, audit logs, and human-in-the-loop review.

• Capability to design agent systems with scoped tools, explicit permissions, logging, evaluations, and graceful failure modes.

• Proficient with access control, Postgres RLS, PII management, secrets handling, audit trails, least privilege, secure integrations, and safe third-party API usage.

• Experience with Supabase, Postgres RLS, Deno, Modal, embeddings, vector search, transcription, GPU workloads, or similar infrastructures is a plus.

• Familiarity with data validation, reconciliation, lineage, observability, or audit systems is advantageous.

• Experience with AI evaluations, AI observability, agent testing, or red-teaming AI systems is a plus.
