Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Develop AI-native products utilizing robust, secure, and high-quality data systems.

• Engage with the entire technology stack, covering data ingestion, transformation, storage, APIs, product interfaces, AI workflows, agentic systems, and observability.

• Create secure and scalable full-stack product features.

• Design data models, APIs, integrations, and backend architecture.

• Establish reliable data pipelines with comprehensive validation and observability.

• Deliver high-value, trusted AI/LLM-driven features.

• Construct secure agentic workflows equipped with defined tools, permissions, logging, evaluations, and error management.

• Troubleshoot issues across data ingestion, transformation, databases, APIs, user interfaces, and AI contexts.

• Create systems that prioritize security, privacy, auditability, and observability.

• Collaborate with an international clientele and MWDN’s distributed team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in producing software.

• Proficient in TypeScript, React, and SQL.

• Strong expertise in backend architecture, API design, data modeling, and production debugging.

• Extensive experience with data pipelines, integrations, or data-intensive systems.

• Proven experience in developing systems that manage sensitive, regulated, and high-trust data.

• Hands-on experience in delivering robust AI/LLM-powered features.

• Solid understanding of evaluations, hallucinations, malformed outputs, retrieval quality, latency, cost, model drift, and provider risks.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Knowledge of prompt injection, permission boundaries, data exfiltration risks, secrets management, audit logs, and human-in-the-loop reviews.

• Familiarity with access control, Postgres RLS, PII management, secrets management, audit trails, least privilege practices, secure integrations, and safe utilization of third-party APIs.

• Experience in high-trust data environments like finance, investment, legal, healthcare, or enterprise SaaS is a plus.

• Familiarity with technologies such as Supabase, Postgres RLS, Deno, Modal, embeddings, vector search, transcription, GPU workloads, or similar infrastructure is advantageous.

• Experience in data validation, reconciliation, lineage, observability, or auditing systems is beneficial.

• Background in AI evaluations, AI observability, agent testing, or red-teaming AI systems is a plus.
