Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.

📋 Description

• Develop secure and scalable full-stack product functionalities.

• Design robust data models, APIs, integrations, and backend frameworks.

• Establish reliable data pipelines with comprehensive validation and monitoring.

• Deliver high-value, trustworthy AI/LLM-driven features.

• Construct safe agentic workflows incorporating scoped tools, permissions, logging, evaluations, and error management.

• Troubleshoot issues across ingestion, transformation, database, API, UI, and AI contexts.

• Create systems with a focus on security, privacy, auditability, and observability.

• Collaborate across data ingestion, transformation, storage, APIs, product interfaces, AI workflows, agentic systems, and observability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in developing production software.

• Extensive proficiency in TypeScript, React, and SQL.

• Strong expertise in backend architecture, API development, data modeling, and debugging in production environments.

• Considerable experience with data pipelines, integrations, or systems reliant on substantial data.

• Background in building systems that manage sensitive, regulated, and high-trust data.

• Proven production experience in delivering robust AI/LLM-powered functionalities.

• Deep understanding of evaluations, hallucinations, malformed outputs, retrieval quality, latency, cost, model drift, and provider risk.

• Capability to judiciously select between LLMs, retrieval methods, data foundation enhancements, and deterministic programming.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• High sense of ownership, agency, and humility.

• Familiarity with prompt injection, permission boundaries, data exfiltration risks, secrets management, audit logs, and human-in-the-loop review processes.

• Comfort with access control, Postgres RLS, PII management, secrets management, audit trails, least privilege principles, secure integrations, and safe use of third-party APIs.

• Experience with customer-facing data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, managing failure modes, and tracing data issues across systems.

• Background in high-trust data environments such as finance, investment, legal, healthcare, or enterprise SaaS.

• Experience with Supabase, Postgres RLS, Deno, Modal, embeddings, vector search, transcription, GPU workloads, or similar technologies.

• Familiarity with data validation, reconciliation, lineage, observability, or audit systems.

• Experience with AI evaluations, AI observability, agent testing, or red-teaming AI systems.
