Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy scalable backend pipelines and data-intensive systems.

• Create production-quality ingestion and processing frameworks.

• Make architectural choices based on actual data volumes.

• Ensure the reliable operation of backend systems within Kubernetes and AWS environments.

• Occasionally engage in frontend tasks, including minor UI updates and new page development.

• Focus primarily on designing and implementing backend systems as a core aspect of the role.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in production environments using TypeScript and Node.js.

• Significant preference for NestJS, utilized as the primary backend framework.

• Extensive experience in designing backend systems for high scalability, encompassing autoscaling, high availability, performance, resilience, and failure management.

• Strong understanding of event-driven architectures.

• Familiarity with Kafka-based ingestion and streaming, including producers, consumers, pipelines, and batching techniques.

• Advanced skills in PostgreSQL/SQL, particularly in schema design and query optimization.

• Hands-on experience with Kafka is highly preferred.

• Basic knowledge of Redis.

• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes in a production setting.

• Practical skills in using logs, metrics, and tracing for the monitoring and debugging of production systems.

• Familiarity with security domains, such as application security, runtime protection, and vulnerability management, is a plus but not obligatory.

• Previous experience in data-intensive security platforms or similar high-scale systems is advantageous.
