Senior Full-Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold frontend functionalities, backend services, and APIs.

• Construct and enhance data ingestion workflows that include APIs, SFTP, object storage, and file uploads.

• Execute data validation, normalization, and provide effective error reporting.

• Manage scheduled jobs with a focus on retries, duplicate processing, time zones, and business calendars.

• Write and optimize SQL queries, along with implementing reviewed database migrations.

• Maintain versioned records, historical snapshots, and audit trails.

• Enforce server-side access controls and ensure secure data handling.

• Develop unit and integration tests for vital business workflows.

• Diagnose application and production issues while documenting causes and resolutions.

• Engage in code reviews, releases, and the creation of technical documentation.

• Collaborate with the Technical Lead and DevOps specialists on installation and upgrade challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in independently delivering full-stack features in a production environment.

• Proficient backend and frontend development capabilities.

• Strong foundations in PostgreSQL and SQL.

• Experience in building and consuming APIs, as well as integrating external systems.

• Familiarity with background processing, scheduled tasks, and error management.

• Practical understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure development practices.

• Experience in writing automated tests and working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Excellent debugging skills across application code, databases, and integrations.

• Strong communication and documentation abilities.

• Capability to take ownership of assigned tasks within a small delivery team.

• Experience with financial data, investment operations, or other data-intensive B2B products is preferred.

• Background with AWS-hosted applications and customer-specific deployments is preferred.

• Familiarity with configurable interfaces and metadata-driven applications is preferred.

• Experience with append-only records, effective-dated data, or slowly changing dimensions is preferred.

• Experience in document-processing workflows that require human review is preferred.

• Experience addressing findings from security assessments is preferred.
