Senior Full Stack Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop new functionalities that enhance the capabilities of Calendly Notetaker and cater to a broader range of users.

• Participate in initiatives aimed at scaling the platform.

• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to clarify and refine project requirements.

• Engage in agile ceremonies to strategize and execute team tasks.

• Work collaboratively with various squads to enhance Engineering practices.

• Evaluate implementation plans and review peer pull requests.

• Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.

• Design and maintain core features and architecture for Calendly’s AI Notetaker and meeting summaries.

• Create tools and automation processes to optimize the delivery workflow.

• Develop and expand a service-oriented platform architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of Software Development experience in a SaaS or technology environment.

• Preferred professional experience with Node.js.

• Desirable experience with React or a similar UI framework.

• Professional expertise in TypeScript.

• Capacity to adapt to emerging technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational demands.

• Practical experience with Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), microservices, and significant product scaling projects.

• Ability to take ownership of features end-to-end, covering technical discovery, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance.

• Familiarity with AI coding assistants like Copilot or Cursor, along with the capability to understand and justify implementation choices based on generated code.

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation beyond standard working hours.
