Senior Full Stack Engineer – Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Develop and launch Python backend services that convert model outputs into actionable recommendations.

• Create React interfaces for users to review, modify, and approve those recommendations.

• Integrate Architect with the Haus platform seamlessly.

• Establish API agreements with other teams and manage failure scenarios effectively.

• Work alongside product, science, and design teams to define product scope.

• Enhance the codebase through testing, monitoring, and refactoring efforts.

• Employ AI coding tools within the development process and clarify verification techniques.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in developing and delivering production web applications and APIs.

• Strong backend development expertise in Python.

• Proficient in React.

• Capable of navigating ambiguous, product-facing roles and transforming vague requests into well-defined plans.

• Familiarity with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL and data-intensive applications.

• Comfortable working in cloud-native environments; GCP is preferred.

• Knowledge of deploying, monitoring, and managing production services.

• Experience with AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar technologies.

• Ability to articulate how AI-generated outputs were validated.

• Strong communication skills with the capability to clearly explain technical trade-offs.

• Bonus: experience with Meta Marketing API, Google Ads API, or experimentation frameworks.

• Bonus: background in optimization or recommendation systems.

• Bonus: experience in earlier-stage startup environments.

• Bonus: familiarity with Flask, SQLAlchemy, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
