Senior Full-Stack Engineer – AI Cost Visibility

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from start to finish, including customer pain point identification, design, implementation, release, monitoring, and iterations.

• Establish completion criteria and take responsibility for reliability, user experience, and measurable outcomes.

• Assess and prioritize tasks based on customer needs.

• Gain insight into AI expenditures, including token and model pricing, inference and GPU economics, and resource allocation for teams and initiatives.

• Articulate feature value to customers while applying product judgment in design decisions.

• Utilize AI on a daily basis to analyze codebases and vendor APIs, prototype, generate and review code, debug, write tests, and create documentation.

• Assess agentic tools and identify opportunities where AI can enhance efficiency versus areas requiring human quality control.

• Design, construct, and scale backend services using Go.

• Develop product experiences utilizing TypeScript and React.

• Convert cost and usage data into clear, efficient, and reliable interfaces.

• Create API-first capabilities that are accessible to both users and agents.

• Establish engineering standards through design reviews, guardrails, and development practices.

• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience, particularly with multi-tenant SaaS products, showcasing a history of end-to-end feature or product ownership in production.

• Proficient in Go for backend services, APIs, data processing, and operational challenges.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern React.

• Ability to manage features across the entire stack, from data models to interfaces.

• Experience in building on public cloud platforms; GCP preferred, or AWS or Azure.

• Working knowledge of SQL against analytical data stores like BigQuery.

• Product-oriented mindset.

• Familiarity with the use of AI tools throughout the engineering workflow.

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and architectural guidelines.

• Capability to guide and set direction for others.

• Comfort navigating ambiguity in a rapidly evolving market.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Self-organized, goal-driven, self-motivated, confident, thorough, and persistent.

• Knowledge of FinOps and related products is a significant advantage.

• A BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is a bonus.

• A demonstrable portfolio showcasing career work is a plus.
