This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Design, construct, and train machine learning and deep learning models, encompassing GenAI, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions tailored for healthcare applications.
• Develop, test, and implement AI solutions in both cloud-based and on-premise environments.
• Work with extensive healthcare datasets, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Implement and enhance AI models within Gainwell’s existing technology framework.
• Collaborate with software engineers to guarantee seamless integration of systems.
• Monitor, refine, and optimize AI models for accuracy, efficiency, and speed by utilizing MLOps best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI/ML and investigate new technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure AI implementations comply with healthcare regulations, ethical AI principles, and data privacy standards.
• Identify opportunities for workflow automation and optimize business processes through AI-driven solutions.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Practical experience with GenAI, NLP, deep learning, and computer vision.
• Proficient coding skills in Python.
• Experience working with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Familiarity with LLMs such as GPT, Gemini, and Claude, including prompt engineering and optimization.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
• Understanding of MLOps practices.
• Familiarity with big data tools, including Spark, Hadoop, and SQL/NoSQL.
• Experience in developing, deploying, and fine-tuning LLMs for practical applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions.
• Understanding of healthcare AI and regulatory standards such as HIPAA and CMS is advantageous.
