This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +6 more countries.
• Take ownership of features from start to finish, encompassing customer pain point analysis, design, implementation, release, monitoring, and iteration.
• Establish success criteria while ensuring reliability, user experience, and measurable outcomes.
• Suggest product initiatives based on both customer and business requirements.
• Comprehend AI expenditures, including token and model pricing, inference and GPU economics, as well as resource allocation to various teams and projects.
• Integrate AI into daily tasks, such as codebase exploration, vendor API research, prototyping, code generation and review, debugging, testing, and documentation.
• Design, develop, and expand backend services using Go.
• Create product experiences utilizing TypeScript and React.
• Convert cost and usage data into clear, efficient, and reliable interfaces.
• Develop API-first functionalities for both humans and automated agents.
• Engage in thoughtful design reviews and set engineering standards.
• Mentor colleagues and disseminate knowledge.
• Collaborate with R&D and Engineering teams to shape the AI cost visibility product.
• Over 7 years of professional experience in software engineering, particularly in multi-tenant SaaS products, with a proven history of owning features or products from inception to production.
• Proficient in Go for backend services, APIs, data processing, and the operational aspects of managing them.
• Strong skills in TypeScript and modern React.
• Capable of working across the entire stack and managing a feature from data modeling to user interface.
• Experience in developing on public cloud platforms; GCP preferred, with AWS or Azure also accepted.
• Proficient in SQL, particularly with analytical databases like BigQuery.
• Possess a product-oriented mindset.
• Prior experience with AI-enhanced engineering workflows.
• Strong understanding of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural frameworks.
• Ability to guide and direct others effectively.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a rapidly evolving market.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-organized, goal-driven, self-motivated, confident, detail-oriented, and persistent.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is considered a plus.
• Familiarity with FinOps and FinOps products is an added advantage.
