Senior Full-Stack Engineer – AI Cost Visibility

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of features from start to finish, encompassing customer pain assessment, design, implementation, release, monitoring, and iterative improvements.

• Establish success metrics and maintain responsibility for reliability, user experience, and measurable outcomes.

• Identify and prioritize tasks based on the needs of customers and the product.

• Comprehend AI expenditure, including token and model pricing, inference and GPU economics, and usage summaries.

• Leverage AI on a daily basis to investigate codebases and vendor APIs, prototype, generate and review code, debug, write tests, and create documentation.

• Design, build, and scale backend services utilizing Go.

• Develop product experiences using TypeScript and React.

• Convert cost and usage data into clear, rapid, and reliable user interfaces.

• Create API-first functionalities that are accessible via APIs for both humans and agents.

• Engage in meaningful design reviews and establish engineering guidelines.

• Guide peers and disseminate knowledge.

• Work collaboratively with FinOps practitioners and platform engineers throughout product development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of professional software engineering experience, particularly with multi-tenant SaaS products.

• Proven history of owning features or products from inception to production.

• Proficient in Go for backend services, APIs, data processing, and operational tasks.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern React.

• Capability to manage a feature from the data model to the user interface.

• Experience with public cloud environments; GCP preferred, AWS or Azure also acceptable.

• Working knowledge of SQL in relation to an analytical database such as BigQuery.

• A product-oriented mindset.

• Familiarity with utilizing AI tools within the engineering workflow.

• Comprehensive understanding of software engineering practices, design patterns, and architectural principles.

• Ability to guide and set direction for others.

• Comfortability with ambiguity in a rapidly evolving market.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Knowledge of FinOps is a significant plus.
